Although Chess moved to different locations in the city, the location at 2120 S. Michigan Avenue was made famous as a title of a Rolling Stones song. Chess Records artists include: Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Chuck Berry, Etta James, and Bo Diddley.
